In recent years, Ashraf Sharif Khan and Viktor Marek have proven how virtuosically they combine sitar and electronic sounds with their captivating live shows. What was once ridiculed as experimental fusion has developed into a ground-breaking world of sound - with Hamburg as the new centre for innovative Indo-pop.

Their debut Sufi Dub Brothers (August 2020, released in the middle of the pandemic and ten years in the making) disproved all doubts. With musical brilliance and dry humour, they turned sceptics into fans. Now, under their iconic stage name, they are back.

The Return of The Sufi Dub Brothers (released on 5 September 2025 on Fun In The Church) pays homage to dub legend Lee Scratch Perry, but goes its own way. The album heralds their most extensive European tour to date - the perfect opportunity to experience their unique blend of tradition and modernity live.
